I have loved being behind a camera and taking photos since I was a little girl. It was always just sporadic fun until I was 17, when I decided to turn my hobby into a career. This idea first came to mind when I was taking photos of my sister while on a holiday in the bush. It was then that I first realised how much I enjoyed taking photographs of people.
After returning home from this vacation, I decided to pursue
this impulse and create what was originally known as
Summer CK Photography. I conceptualised some ideas, gathered my closest friends to model and created an Instagram page.
Initially, my clients were all high school students wanting some individual portraits or group shots with their friends. After a few months I even started doing Matric Farewells and family shoots.
I have shot and experimented with a variety of photographic styles, but I am enjoying learning and trying new things everyday.
